I remember finding his web site when I was first looking at Insights about 2-3 years ago, and appreciated the info and enthusiasm.
Now that I finally have one, I see his site is still there, but no recent updates. The last real info is about his car being smacked by some yahoo in a pickup.
He's probably getting ready to become Priusman. Since the new Prius is getting a lot of attention. Honda needs to think quick if they want to catch up.
Name an advantage one of Honda's Hybrids has over the new Prius? From what I've seen so far the Prius wins hands down. It's a bigger vehicle, has more storage room with bigger tires. Sure it can't beat the manual Insight in MPG but, that is also a smaller lighter car which only carries two people. It certainly gets about the same or better gas mileage as my CVT. The new Prius is certainly a more functional Hybrid.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Honda fan. But if they don't beat Toyota's Prius soon, I'll be going to the other side.
