Hey,
I'm curious where everyone is from.
Anyone with an Insight live in the Burlington, Vermont region?

Typical Americans...There's no place in the pole for people who don't live in the States. :)

Heya neighbor. I'm in Lavallette, NJ, but originally from upstate/western NY.
Sorry Aaron Cake...

I'm sorry Aaron,
The poll allowed only a few poll choices.

I was going to ask (North-Central, Central, South-Central, North-East, East, South-East, North-West, West, South-West, all USA), Canada, United Kingdom, Continental Europe. I think the number of poll choices was limited to 4 and I didn't want to include only one country other than the U.S. as it would not be fair to others.
Please don't think all americans don't give a rat about other countries/people.

Sara! Yes, we're neighbors! I'll be a happy owner this Saturday when I pick up my 2000 Insight. 27K miles. How many miles do you have on yours?

PS-Very nice photo collection! I'm impressed. A good photographer and she's pleasing to the eye, too! ;)

LOL. It's OK. It was just a little joke....though I have found that a great number of Americans don't actually seem to care about the rest of the world...But that is too off topic for this post.

I agree with you... on both counts.

We limited the poll choices to 5 in order to avoid a site filled with long polls instead of lively discussion. If you ever have a poll you would like to post with more options, simply PM or email one of the moderators and they can set it up for you.

Southern Florida Here

Southern Florida Here, in good ol' Boca Raton. It's in the Miami/Ft.Lauderdale/West Palm Beach area.

This car is quite rare down here, I haven't seen one on the road down here... ever. The only other time I've ever encountered a Insight that I remember is when I was driving up to South Carolina about a year ago to visit my family, I encountered one in Georgia, a little green or yellow one. Was quite amazing to see one.

I love the looks I get when people see my car! I've had so many questions about it, drive through tellers remark on it, I've had one guy at an intersection stare at it from his car and give me a thumbs up, just yesterday I came out of Roadhouse grill and 2 people who'd gotten out of an SUV were looking at it. It's a real attention getter.
Glitch,
Yes, that is one of the joys of new Insight ownership! In certain instances this can become a problem -- you'll see what I mean when you get a car (or, worse, a truck or SUV) that stays glued to your rear bumper as the driver tries to peer in.

I'm in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where they are several other Insight owners registered. In fact, another Insight left the apartment complex just ahead of me this morning. I had no idea there was another of us here. (It's a big place.)
where I live

This is my first posting...

Mark from Winston-Salem, NC...

I have a 2000 Silver 5-speed with 60k on it...great car!!
Racine, MN

Insights are rare in this area. 4WD-Pickups, Minivans and SUVs are the most popular vehicles. I do, however, get a lot of people asking me about my Insight (more than any other car I've ever owned).

North San Diego, CA County

Bought Insight #1 in December 2002, had to go to Anaheim, CA to find a 2003 blue 5 speed manual. It was such a hit we bought Insight #2, another 2003 blue 5 speed, found it in Chula Vista (San Diego) even cheaper (!?) in February 2003. Our local Honda dealer has had no Insights since we started searching in November 2002 (in fact, they wouldn't admit they existed at first--oh yeah, the hybrid, they make a hybrid Civic...). The driveway resembles a dealership already!
