Why can't I turn off the main breaker switch on the hybrid battery?

So my 12v system stopped charging about a week ago, and since these cars don't have a traditional alternator and charge off of the hybrid dc to dc, I am only running off of the 12v which lasts maybe a 30 miles with ac and radio off. I have been looking at forums and went into the back to try to bypass the hybrid but still charge the 12v system by pulling those two harnesses in the hybrid system, but when I went to flip the main breaker for the hybrid battery it's stuck in the on position. I know this most likely means there is a short somewhere but I don't know where to start. Any help is appreciated šŸ‘

Did you remove the red plastic safety piece that slips over the switch? If you don’t remove it, the switch cannot physically be moved.

When you do remove it and flip the switch off, please remember to immediately reinstall it to lock the switch out so the pack doesn’t accidentally get turned back on while you are working around/with it.

I know — my wife refers to me as ā€œMaster of the Obviousā€ for a reason.

Wow 😳 I can't believe I didn't see that before, thanks a ton! Now I just have to figure out why the 12v system stopped charging. The only thing I can think is maybe the inverter because it looks like all my grounds are good and the ima still works as it should and with the Regen charge and assist.
Occam needs a shave.
Occam? What do you mean by that?
Occam’s razor — a philosophical concept. Google/Wikipedia are your friends here.
