$5100 and reserve not met
I emailed the seller about his asking price and no reply......
Some folks just don't want to sell good cars cheap. Every day there are fewer of these really nice cars as they get damaged, or transmissions get worn, or they get flooded, or they get hit and generate a Carfax. One day that $5100 bidder will regret that he didn't offer the extra $900-1,400 dollars.:)

I missed out on a citrus 2 weeks back. I was about to send payment but couldnt pull the trigger as its on the other side of the country and I got an odd vibe from the seller/dealer. By the time I decided I would risk buying it, it was gone. If the Honda dealer in Victoria would have listed it for sale I would have bought it immediately.

Im pretty sure this is user "Lime"s fathers car.

1 Owner
90k miles
Original floor mats and car cover
Looks pristine
Sold for $3990 CAD, which is $31xx US

The dealer got it from Honda, who got it as a trade in. Meaning they traded this in for pennies on the dollar.

I would never pay $8000 or whatever the ebay lister is planning to get. Honda doesnt even want to bother with low mileage ones. They have also tried selling that a few months ago.

There is an 88K mile Formula Red that looks pristine for $5850 in Michigan and it has been for sale for months...

I wasnt knocking the price at all :)
I was just relaying what was going on with the auction. Its nice to see some of these draw more money.

I might be the only one, but I thought this was pretty ludicrous. This car will never make this money back - its just not that kinda car.

Similar to this CRX - https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1987-honda-crx-std-hatchback/
And theres a second one on auction now thats similar and at 10k.

These just arent "that" kind of car - these guys will never, ever, get this value back out of these cars..... Just my .02 anyway... which is about all my opinions worth :)

A 1st gen CRX non Si should never command that kind of price.
The 2nd Gen already does and they are only going to go up in value. One of the best cars Honda ever made imo.
