That's kinda mean. I don't do any of that stuff, I don't know anything about cars. I paid when I bought the car for the free oil changes for life. I would have thought that was enough. The car has never used oil before, so youre worrying about the wrong thing here attacking me like this. Something is wrong with my car.
Not trying to be mean. If I was to ask if you were blond, that would be mean. But really, you say you don't know anything about cars, yet you can drive one. Well if you drive one you should know some basic things to check between service stops. Checking the tire pressure, checking the brake fluid level, checking the coolant level and checking the oil level. You don't need to be a mechanic to do that. Any 6 year old kid could check those things in under 5 minutes.

What does the owners manual say? The one in my G1 says to check the oil every time you fill up with gas. As for using oil between changes, it doesn't mean there is a problem with the engine. Oil lubricates the pistons in the cylinder and so is exposed to the combustion cycle and will burn up along with the fuel at a microscopic level. The amount that gets used varies with the oil. A synthetic that burns at a higher temperature may not get used up as much as a conventional oil.
