I am NOT a diy wrench, and as my 2011 LX crosses 165k miles and 14 years old, I am concerned about parts availability, mechanic expertise, and just plain oldness as my car ages.
That said, I am amazed at how little it has seemed to have aged in the 10 years and 112k miles I have driven it. It has attracted more parking lot damage than any car I've ever owned, but the basic sense of driving it seems identical the the first day I got it.
Here I am soliciting opinions, drive test, research, rumors etc about what newer car would be satisfactory to a happy G2 owner?
[I recently put several k miles on a '22 Ford Transit Connect. I absolutely despise the over-use of digitial/computer electronics, and wonder what is the newest car(s) that have a minimum of that.]
