Only one post here mentions the c1555 code (http://www.insightcentral.net/forums/other-honda-hybrids-discussion/36482-06-civic-chugging.html) and it was a Civic hybrid with a lot of issues, so not clear which of those caused the C1555.

At least it gives you a list of things to check.

 

... Scangauge is always on, so I checked it and it said C1555, I tried to reset it, but no response. Any ideas?

according to the above thread, it may be a glitch with scangauge rate or possibly a : C1555 = EMPS ECU Malfunction

 

I think it means there is some fault but the scan gauge can't read it.

You need another scanner or the dealer.

 

Thanks guys. I'm trying to avoid having to take it to the dealer, I have almost 150k on it...

but I do need a new battery, dealer usually has a sale on them. Maybe Ill just disconnect the battery tonight for 15 minutes and see if the code clears and does or deosnt come back.

I googles the code, and found the same stuff. Only thing the dash said was CHECK IMA system.

Do the blink codes, no fancy gauge, no dealership, just need a small paper clip as a jumper.

Just to be sure, you did not blow the auxiliary fuse? I did and it caused a Check IMA warning.
Remote door locks and interior lights still work? Cause those were gone too when my $0.50 fuse blew.

 

Yep. Everything still works. IMA still working fine.

Whats the blink test?

 

Are you in the US? Have you ever had any of the software updates? The latest one is mandated as a recall and you can get it for free.

It didnt clear yet, so I will just bring it to the dealer for the recall and hope it clears then. If not, I will deal with it...
