I created a document on Google docs, here is the link:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ak_6kHNvYIzmdDNuekMyQzVZYUNTd0JFb3BIRWZ6aWc&usp=sharing

Remember there are two tabs, the first tab is for how many miles are on your car. The second tab is your personal best MPG.

Feel free to add yourself and provide feedback. This is for fun and to see how many cars out there have either extremely LOW miles or HIGH miles. Also what MPG club have you attained. It is basically the honor system when you add your info but if you want to add a picture of your best MPG on this string that would be great.

I'll get things started with my best tank to date. 81 MPG | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

EDIT: Okay, had to play with it but I think I fixed the document so everyone can edit it now.

Great start, glad to see it working now. We need to see some 300K and 400K owners on the spreadsheet! Don't forget there is a second tab for your highest MPG.

Hey Biododge1, I moved you down to the 300-400K high mileage section, so far you are the winner on the spreadsheet for the high mileage Insight! So far it is a pretty good start, thanks to those that have added to it, I know we've got higher mileage Insights out there.

How do you open the second tab?

Willie

FOUND IT....Disregard my first post.

LOL, well Willie I thought you had the highest mileage Insight on the spreadsheet until Speedyssss dropped is name into the 400-500K mile range and beat you! I'm having fun watching to see where folks are falling out on the charts.

Congrats Speedyssss for being our first 400K plus on the chart! Lets see how long you hold the high spot for?

Well I'm proud to be one of the "Original Owners" group.
We are also getting rare.

Maybe you should have a column for LMPG. That might give beneficial info.

Remembering this is an international site :)
Might be a good idea to have a column/formula that converts UK gallons into US or converts all the figures we input US/UK etc into L/100km.

Agree a LMPG column would be good or at least a LMPG since you have owned the car.
I reset mine when I bought it so it would accurately reflect my ownership.

Thanks Mountain Driver

Thanks Mountain Driver, wanted to do something that we could all share and show how our cars and achievements are going. Some good looking MPG on your chart there for a CVT!!!

I added my MPG data for one of 3 cars. I also took the liberty of adding a "conditions" column since this is one of the major factors in MPG performance. You may delete the column if you like:)

Nice spreadsheet!

On second thought, I deleted that column. Really isn't right to mess with other folks spreadsheets. The "owner" may add or ignore the suggestion.

82.4mpg best tank at 1004 miles

Just added my best tank to the spreadsheet. It looks like the numbers don't add up but the last few tanks I've been able to top off to as much as 12.8 gallons. Must have the tank vent solenoid stuck open when refuelling or something.
I thought it strange the 1st time it happend and even looked underneath expecting to find a couple of gallons of fuel on the ground but it all went in somewhere and showed up with increased distance before coming off full and overall range.
I have also noticed increased MPGs after filling up a few times as the EVAP system was purging the vapours which will drop the inj. pulse. It only lasts a few miles though.

We still have no entries in the 500-600K club on the spread sheet, I know of at least 2-3 people from previous high milage posts that could put their names in there! Would love to see some entries in the 500K club on the spread sheet!

Great job. I retired this summer with 383,000. My wife is killing me and my time with honey Do jobs to get back to updating my needed battery work.!!!

Dimension Dude and Northwest IL, looking forward to seeing both of you add your information to the spread sheet! I love seeing the high mileage cars, thought we'd have more then what is on the spreadsheet but glad to see the 100-300 range filling in nicely!
